The evening will begin with a masterclass led by Professor Arif Khurshed, exploring: “Understanding China’s IPO Market: Research-Driven Insights for Entrepreneurs and Investors.”
Drawing on more than two decades of research in corporate finance, Professor Khurshed will examine the evidence behind China’s changing IPO market, covering areas such as IPOs, venture capital, dividend policy, and banking.
Rather than focusing solely on the latest market developments, the session will consider what the research tells us — and how entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders can use these insights to make decisions.
Professor Khurshed serves on the editorial board of the British Accounting Review and has advised organisations including the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA).
