Max Zhu, AISG’s Director of Finance and Operations, and Christy Tan, Director of Human Resources, hosted the visit. Zhu introduced the school’s founding background, historical milestones, and current operational framework. As a non-profit institution established in 1981, AISG prioritises reinvesting all revenue into campus facilities, academic programmes, and community initiatives, serving over 1,000 students from 50+ nationalities and regions.
Fu highlighted UoM’s commitment to supporting international educators through tailored solutions, including the Educational Leadership in Practice part-time Master’s programme and customised leadership training modules designed to enhance cross-cultural management competencies. The meeting was followed by a tour to AISG’s Science City Campus, where the delegation experienced AISG’s commitment to be a learning environment that provides a transformative experience, through its well-equipped facilities, open concept interactive spaces, and humanised school service.

Notably, AISG was awarded the Diversity and Inclusion Award at the 2025 China Schools Awards in March, where Fu represented UoM China Centre as the award presenter. Reflecting on the visit, Fu remarked, “This visit underscores our shared vision for lifelong learning and inclusive education. AISG’s commitment to fostering a culturally responsive campus offers valuable insights for global educational practices.”
