On 12th March, to connect students from different classes and with senior alumni, a breakfast social was held at the University of Manchester China Centre. The workshop tutor Leigh Wharton, senior GMBA alumni Ailleen Wei and more than 10 and alumni from different industries such as manufacturing, HR, marketing, finance etc presented the mixer. The networking session began before the workshops to make it convenient and feasible for workshop attendants. While being so early morning, alumni and students took time out of their busy schedule to spend a quality time sharing their experience about company, sector and personal journey. The short and yet condensed session provided golden opportunities for GMBA students to get advice from workshop tutors and first-hand feedback from graduated alumna on how the programme would progress and what kind of preparations are recommended to take.
